Get Social With Us

Sunderland Children

The scope of the brief is to raise awareness of Sunderland Children, including on social media, to encourage more parents and carers to engage with the service.

Our approach has included: news releases, features, event profiling and support with developing content for Sunderland Children platforms like Chatter. From family fun day taster sessions, to pampering for volunteers at the East Centre, and from celebrations at the revamped Coalfield Centre to a call for volunteers for the Washington Centre’s coffee shop, we have been able to include important messages in any type of story. We’ve achieved coverage in the Sunderland Echo, Washington Star, and The Journal as well as on Sun FM, achieving a return on investment (ROI) of around 23:1, with a cost per impact (CPI) – that’s the cost per pair of eyes reached – standing at a tiny £0.001.
